Highly Sensitive Therapy & Wellness

Online Therapy in Asheville, NC

For makers, servers, guides, and anyone whose living depends on other people's good time.

HIPAA-compliant telehealth video sessions, not in person

A Town That Hosts

Asheville runs on arts and hospitality. Studios, kitchens, tasting rooms, galleries, festivals, guiding, and the enormous amount of quiet labor behind a weekend that looks effortless to a visitor. Creative and service work both ask you to read people constantly and stay pleasant while doing it.

That is work sensitive adults are frequently very good at. You notice what a room needs. You catch the guest who is about to be upset. You put real feeling into what you make. None of that is free, and the bill usually arrives at once, on your day off, as a strong need to see nobody.

What Usually Brings People In

The crash after a busy stretch. Creative work that has started to feel like output. Financial uncertainty in a place that has become expensive to live in. Community fatigue after the flooding, and the particular tiredness of having held things together for other people longer than you had in you.

We work on protecting your capacity, letting rest be scheduled rather than earned, and keeping the sensitivity that makes your work good from turning into depletion you just live with.

How Sessions Work

Secure video, so the mountains between us do not matter. There is no Asheville office and no in person appointments. Adults, North Carolina only.

No office, anywhere

All appointments are HIPAA-compliant telehealth video sessions. There is no address to drive to in this city or in any other, and no in person option. I am licensed in North Carolina only and see adults who are physically in the state during their sessions. I do not promise a particular outcome or a set number of sessions.

How to Start From Asheville

  1. Book a free 20-minute consultation by video from wherever you are in Asheville.

  2. Meet for a first session of about 50 minutes, where we look at your history and set goals.

  3. Keep meeting by HIPAA-compliant telehealth video, often weekly at first.

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 10am to 4pm, and Friday, 10am to 2pm. Private pay only; I do not bill insurance.

Questions From Asheville Clients

Do I need to come to an office?

No. Every session is a HIPAA-compliant telehealth video session. There is no office in Asheville or anywhere else.

What if I travel or move within North Carolina?

That is fine. As long as you are physically in North Carolina during our sessions, where you are in the state does not matter.

Do you work with couples or families?

No. I work with individuals 18 and older. If a relationship is part of what brings you in, we work on it together one on one.

Do you take insurance?

No. My practice is private pay. We go over fees during your free consultation.

If You Need Help Right Now
