Highly Sensitive Therapy & Wellness

Online Therapy in North Carolina

Licensed in North Carolina, practicing entirely by HIPAA-compliant telehealth video.

HIPAA-compliant telehealth video sessions, not in person

One License, One State

I am licensed to practice clinical social work in North Carolina, and North Carolina is the only place I can see clients. That is a legal boundary, not a preference. If you live here, or you are a student or a traveling professional who is physically in the state during our sessions, we can work together.

Every session happens over HIPAA-compliant telehealth video. There is no waiting room to find, no parking deck, no drive across town at 4:45 on a Tuesday. You join from wherever you already feel settled.

Why Virtual Suits Sensitive Adults

If you carry the highly sensitive person trait, the trip to an appointment can cost more than the appointment gives back. Fluorescent light, a stranger's cologne, a full elevator, small talk you did not have the reserves for. By the time you sit down you are already spent.

Video removes that tax. You control the temperature, the light, and how quickly the hour ends. For a lot of sensitive people, that is the difference between therapy they endure and therapy they use.

Who I Work With

Adults. Stress and burnout, life transitions, anxiety, relationships, and the ongoing work of building a life that fits a sensitive nervous system instead of fighting it.

No office, anywhere

All appointments are HIPAA-compliant telehealth video sessions. There is no address to drive to in this city or in any other, and no in person option. I am licensed in North Carolina only and see adults who are physically in the state during their sessions. I do not promise a particular outcome or a set number of sessions.

How to Start From North Carolina

  1. Book a free 20-minute consultation by video from wherever you are in North Carolina.

  2. Meet for a first session of about 50 minutes, where we look at your history and set goals.

  3. Keep meeting by HIPAA-compliant telehealth video, often weekly at first.

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 10am to 4pm, and Friday, 10am to 2pm. Private pay only; I do not bill insurance.

Questions From North Carolina Clients

Do I need to come to an office?

No. Every session is a HIPAA-compliant telehealth video session. There is no office in North Carolina or anywhere else.

What if I travel or move within North Carolina?

That is fine. As long as you are physically in North Carolina during our sessions, where you are in the state does not matter.

Do you work with couples or families?

No. I work with individuals 18 and older. If a relationship is part of what brings you in, we work on it together one on one.

Do you take insurance?

No. My practice is private pay. We go over fees during your free consultation.

If You Need Help Right Now

Therapy sessions are scheduled and are not a crisis service. If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room.
