Highly Sensitive Therapy & Wellness

Online Therapy in Wilmington, NC

Where I live, and still entirely online. There is no Wilmington office.

HIPAA-compliant telehealth video sessions, not in person

Based Here, Practicing Virtually

Wilmington is home for me, which means I can say the local part honestly: I do not keep an office here. Not downtown, not at Mayfaire, not anywhere. Every client I see, including the ones a few miles from me, meets me over HIPAA-compliant telehealth video.

I want that stated plainly, because a coastal practice with a vague address and no way to visit it is a small dishonesty, and this work runs on not doing that.

What the Coast Asks of People

Life here bends around water, weather, and seasons. Tourism, the port, the film crews, healthcare, the university, and a great deal of hospitality work that triples in volume from May through September and then goes quiet. Storm season carries its own low hum of vigilance, and if you were here for Florence you know that hum does not need a forecast to start.

Sensitive adults often love it here and are worn down by it at the same time. Beauty and overstimulation arrive together. So does a summer where you are on for strangers every day and a February where the town feels emptied out.

What Usually Brings People In

Burnout from a season that never let up. Income that swings and the anxiety underneath it. Hurricane anxiety and the exhaustion of preparing for something that may not come. Feeling isolated in a place other people visit to relax.

We work on steadiness that does not depend on the season, and on how you use your sensitivity to the coast, to people, and to change without it running you.

No office, anywhere

All appointments are HIPAA-compliant telehealth video sessions. There is no address to drive to in this city or in any other, and no in person option. I am licensed in North Carolina only and see adults who are physically in the state during their sessions. I do not promise a particular outcome or a set number of sessions.

Questions From Wilmington Clients

Do I need to come to an office?

No. Every session is a HIPAA-compliant telehealth video session. There is no office in Wilmington or anywhere else.

What if I travel or move within North Carolina?

That is fine. As long as you are physically in North Carolina during our sessions, where you are in the state does not matter.

Do you work with couples or families?

No. I work with individuals 18 and older. If a relationship is part of what brings you in, we work on it together one on one.

Do you take insurance?

No. My practice is private pay. We go over fees during your free consultation.
