Stress Management Therapy for Professionals

High-functioning stress is easy to miss because everything still gets done. The deadlines are met, the inbox stays clear, and you are running on a nervous system that has not fully powered down in months.

How Chronic Stress Shows Up

If several of these sound familiar, you are in exactly the right place. None of them need to be severe to be worth bringing to a session.

  • A short fuse with the people you care about most
  • Working through lunch and calling it efficiency
  • Sleep that never quite restores you
  • Sunday evenings that feel heavier every week
  • Tension headaches, jaw clenching, or a churning stomach

How We Work on This Together

01

Tools That Fit a Real Calendar

We build practices you can actually use between meetings, not routines that require an hour you do not have.

02

Sustainable, Not Heroic

The goal is a pace you can hold for years. That usually means renegotiating a few things, not gritting harder.

03

Recovery as a Skill

Most professionals are excellent at output and untrained at recovery. We treat recovery as something learnable and specific.

Approaches I Draw From

  • Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction
  • Solution-Focused Therapy
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Boundary and workload work

Sessions are held online over a confidential, HIPAA-compliant platform and are available to residents anywhere in North Carolina.

Questions People Ask

I do not have time for weekly therapy.
Sessions are online, so there is no travel. We can also discuss cadence during your consultation.
Can we focus only on work?
We can start there. Work stress usually connects to other areas, and you decide how far we follow it.
What are your office hours?
Office hours are Monday to Thursday, 10am to 4pm, and Friday, 10am to 2pm. The practice is closed Saturday and Sunday.

If You Need Help Right Now

Therapy sessions are scheduled and are not a crisis service. If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room.
